Meals on Wheels Volunteer Drivers (Individual, Need:
volunteer time)
The senior center sends out close to 25 homebound meals each day. We are
in need of volunteer drivers. A volunteer would need to be able to drive
his/her own car and the commitment is only about 1 ½ hours one day
each week. If you are not able to commit to each week we are also in need of
stand-by/fill in drivers. We fix the meals at the center and the drivers stop
by, pick them up and take them to our seniors in our community. It is a great
service and many are very dependent on us. If you know of anyone that might be
interested please pass on this information. If you need more info please
contact Alicia Lee at the Senior Center at 663-1307.
